Kidney research fund raiser

Well done to Pam from the Vintage Wardrobe stall in our indoor market. In return for a donation Pam provided tea and cake in aid of Kidney Research, a charity close to her heart. After two days she had raised in excess of £200!! Fantastic effort and thank you to all of our lovely customers who donated.

What a week of sport!! Wimbledon and Football. Traders in the indoor market have everything crossed for Wednesday evening when England play Denmark in the semi-finals of Euro 2020. Expectations exceeded for Anita!!

Stallholder Anita raised in excess of £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support on Saturday 26th June watched by fellow traders and customers. Not only did she have all of her hair shaved off and raise much needed funds but her hair was plaited beforehand so that her lovely locks could be sent to the Little Princesses Trust www.littleprincesses.org.uk. Anita from the market will be having her head shaved on 26th June at 1.30pm to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Market customers and traders have already raised in excess of £650. 'Some stallholders have been putting their 10p charge for a carrier bag in the box' said Anita 'it's surprising how this mounts up – I’m delighted’
