Victory in Europe 75th Anniversary at Newport Market

Customers at Newport Market were met with a warm welcome on Friday 8th May with all things patriotic.  Joining the rest of Newport the market was decorated with bunting, balloons and anything red, white or blue.  As usual, it was an early start for the traders who were in high spirits, some of them dressing up in 1940s attire.  Fudgeways were representing Mr and Mrs Churchill and the Vintage Wardrobe looked fabulous too dressed as the Local Constabulary and his wife.  There were a couple of land girls in attendance and those who could fit into them modelled the tiny Union Jack aprons!!

New and regular customers appeared to appreciate the efforts of the jolly team of traders who returned again the following day to provide essential food supplies for Newport folk.
